With the Mercedes W124 with M119 engine<\/strong>, there is a common problem:
The control and signal cables in the original positive cable harness (OE A124 540 27 30) were produced at the factory with a defective material compound<\/strong>.
The result becomes apparent after many years: The insulation becomes brittle, breaks open and exposes the bare copper. The consequences range from sporadic misfires to starting failures or short circuits. <\/p>\n

Our repair kit is new,<\/strong> not a reconditioned used part, and specifically replaces these fault-prone cable harnesses.
The heavy-duty main power cables to the alternator and starter remain untouched because they cause no problems.<\/p>\n
